Classroom to Work space

Dates: 5/8/12 - 5/12/12

Reflection: I have started working many more hours now and I am very comfortable with everything at the salon. I feel like I know my way around very well and I can do almost everything on my own. My classroom experiences have definitely helped prepare me for this internship. Maybe not as much as it would have for other internships that use more technology based programs and work more with technology than I do at this internship but, through AOIT I have been taught how to conduct myself in an interview, I was prepared with what type of questions may be brought up in an interview, and I know the basics to working so many computer programs that when I had the SalonBiz software thrown at me, it only took me a short amount of time to know how to work all of the functions and be successful. There really isn't anything I can think of that I wish I had learned more about prior to the internship. AOIT has prepared me very well and I have not been uncomfortable with any situation or felt like I was unprepared.
